Scott Stevens

Scott Stevens is a songwriter, producer, singer and instrumentalist whose work has made a major impact in the Rock and Alternative music landscape. With songwriter and production credits with artists including Shinedown, American Authors, Halestorm, Nothing More, Scott Stapp, Highly Suspect, Chris Daughtry, New Years Day, and many more, Scott’s career has included nine #1 Active Rock Radio songs, plus 20 Top 5’s and 28 Top 10’s at the same format. 

Scott co-wrote and produced vocals on 4 songs for Nothing More’s Grammy Nominated 2018 album The Stories We Tell Ourselves (September 2017/Eleven Seven), produced and co-wrote Shinedown’s “How Did You Love” which was acclaimed as the Active Rock Song of the Year 2017 (Atlantic), and co-wrote songs on Halestorm’s platinum certified album The Strange Case Of... (2012/Atlantic) including “I Miss the Misery”, Halestorm’s first platinum record.

Most recently, Scott Stevens co-wrote and co-produced Scott Stapp’s new solo album The Space Between The Shadows (July 2019/Napalm) which debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top Albums Chart. Additional recent work includes co-writing and co-producing American Authors’ recent single “Neighborhood” (Island), co-writing and co-producing New Years Days’ breakout album Unbreakable (April 2019/RED Music) featuring top 20 Active Rock Single “Shut Up”, co-writing songs on Halestorm’s highly acclaimed and chart topping album Vicious (July 2018/Atlantic), and co-writing 2 songs on Shinedown’s chart shattering current album ATTENTION ATTENTION (March 2018/Atlantic). 

Scott’s upcoming work includes writing with Diamante for the next album (2019/2020/Better Noise), co-writing and producing songs for Sick Puppies forthcoming fall 2019 album, producing singles for Juliet Simms coming summer 2019, and writing/producing with The Word Alive for forthcoming 2019/2020 album (Fearless). Scott also co-wrote and co-produced two songs for new artist Lily Meola (Interscope) which will be released this fall.

Scott has home bases in both Los Angeles, CA and Nashville, TN, owning the studio The Cabin in LA, and The Barn in Nashville.
